A warm welcome awaits our V.I.P's (Very Important Paws) here at Puddle Duck Cottages.
Each cottage has a secure private garden and we do not charge extra for dogs to stay. Our location is perfect, the area is very dog friendly and you can enjoy lots of snoutastic walks with a fabulous choice of dog friendly pubs/restaurants and cafes less than 5 minutes walk away, that just so happen to serve great dog treats too!
Shropshire is a hidden gem and there's plenty to see and do with your trusted canine companion. So whether you're out and about exploring our historical past, enjoying walking the abundance of traffic free walks directly from the cottages or hiking through the Shropshire Hills or maybe strolling along the Shropshire Union and Llangollen canals, you're sure to leave rejuvenated and restored.
Although we may be dog friendly we are also keen to emphasis the fact that many of our guests don't have pets. For this reason we are proud to say that our cleaning standards are exceptionally high, so much so we are confident that when you book a stay with us as a non pet owner you will be equally delighted with the luxurious standards we pride ourselves on and are consistently appraised for, has reflected in our many guest reviews.
"The property on arrival was spotless and we loved the welcome wine and cake as well as the gifts and treats left for the dogs which was a lovely touch. The cottages are truly dog friendly and it was so nice to feel so relaxed about having our dogs with us. We had never been to the area before and had a wonderful time exploring - there is no need for the car for the most part as there are so many places to see and things to do within walking distance. We had some lovely meals out in nearby dog friendly pubs and walked and walked for miles. We can certainly recommend a day out at the Victorian village. All in all we had a lovely time and will definitely be back! " Veronica Banks
